Does it work with machines from other manufacturers?
Yes. You can add your own machines and equipment from any manufacturer and manage them in myEQUIPMENT alongside all others. Which live data is available depends on the machine.
Do we need new sensors?
Not for the base modules. myDATA, the order plan and Predictive Maintenance work with sensor and operating data from your machines. Which signals are available differs from machine to machine – we look at your situation together in the demo.
What is the difference between Simple and Advanced?
Simple shows on every page what is going on and what to do now – readable in a few seconds. Advanced shows all information, charts and statistics. You switch with one click; the detail pages are the same in both.
What is explAIn?
explAIn answers questions about your plant, such as “What will stop the plant this week?” or “When is the next window for maintenance?”. The answers come from the data in OneShiftAhead – live data, sensor signals, maintenance plan, service cases and visits – and end with actions you can take right away. explAIn is available as an add-on.
Is there an app?
Yes. OneShiftAhead is a real app for the phone, with tab bar, swipe gestures and drill-down. You add it to the home screen directly from the browser – no app store needed. It also works on tablets.

How long does the setup take?
That depends on the number of plants and machines and on the modules you choose. After a first conversation we give you a concrete plan.

What does “Experimental” mean?
Some new ideas, like machine faces and team goals, are marked as experimental. Each user can switch them on or off in the account menu. They do not change your data.
